Mouth tape: your first week
Mouth tape is a habit, not a hack. Ease into it over a week so it feels natural, and never tape a nose that can't breathe.
Nights 1–2: open your nose with a strip and just notice your breathing. Don't tape yet.
Only tape when your nose already feels clear. Blocked, unwell, congested or after a drink? Skip it that night.
Start small: a short piece across the centre of your closed lips, a gentle seal, not full coverage.
Classic is the firmer cotton seal; Collagen is the softer satin option if Classic feels like too much.
In the morning, peel slowly from one corner. If it felt tight, use a smaller piece next time.
Only use mouth tape when nasal breathing feels clear. Do not use while congested, unwell, after drinking, or if you suspect sleep apnoea. Remove slowly and stop using it if irritation occurs.
