Is mouth taping safe?
Only use mouth tape when nasal breathing feels clear. Do not use while congested, unwell, after drinking, or if you suspect sleep apnoea. Remove slowly and stop using it if irritation occurs.
How is this different from Classic?
Classic is firmer cotton with a steadier seal. Collagen is satin-smooth nylon with a gentler hold and a skin-conscious build. Smoother going on, smoother coming off.
Does the collagen actually do anything?
It is an infusion in the tape, collagen with vitamins B5, B7 and E, aloe vera and CoQ10, chosen for skin hydration and barrier comfort. We do not make beauty claims. The job is still the seal, and breathing comes first.
Will the softer hold still stay on all night?
Yes. It is gentler than Classic, not weaker at the job. The seal keeps your lips resting together through the night and lifts clean in the morning.
Is this the one for sensitive skin?
It is the gentler pick. The nylon is satin-smooth and the adhesive is milder than Classic. Latex-free, fragrance-free and hypoallergenic, but as with any adhesive, patch test first if your skin reacts easily.
Should I use this with nasal strips?
Ideally, yes. Open the nose first, the strip does that, then the tape helps keep the mouth from taking over. Tape only makes sense when air has somewhere else to go.
